Pension Sharing on Divorce: Standard Instruction Template

Our experience is that in many cases all that is required from a pension expert report  is to know what Pension Sharing Order percentages will be required to meet two alternative objectives namely balancing (a) pensions capital (b) pensions per annum.

Options are then limited to (1) apportionment (where the period to be considered is the matrimonial period only), (2) a split different from 50/50, (3) retirement ages other than the current state pension age of 67 years, (4) a possible capital offset (to allow for other assets), and (5) possible offset for an imbalance in State Pension entitlements.
