Pension Sharing Order — Portal-route registration

Register your access to the Pension Sharing Order Calculation Service.

For parties engaging directly — or supported by a mediator — this short form is the entry point to Stage 1 of the engagement lifecycle (see How the engagement runs on the Pension Sharing Order page for the full picture). The process is asymmetric by design: Party 1 completes this form; the firm then writes to both parties immediately with confirmation of what data has been provided; Party 2 actively replies to the firm’s email to confirm engagement, which triggers Stage 2. Only the parties’ names and email addresses are required to begin.

This form is completed by Party 1 — the party initiating the registration. Only sections 02 and 04 (Party 1 and Party 2 names and email addresses) are required. All other fields are optional — provide them if they help the firm scope the engagement, but the registration can be submitted with just the four core fields. Party 2 is contacted by the firm directly on submission and responds to the firm’s email; Party 2 does not need to fill in this form.

01 Proceedings optional — provide if known
02 Party 1 required — enter details of one of the parties
03 Party 1’s representative e.g. mediator — optional
04 Party 2 required — enter details of the other party
05 Party 2’s representative e.g. mediator — optional

What submitting this form means

Submitting this form initiates Stage 1 of the engagement — the firm writes to both parties immediately to confirm what data has been provided. Party 2 must actively reply to the firm’s email to indicate willingness to engage. If Party 2 does not reply within fourteen days, the registration lapses silently and the data is removed; Party 1 is not separately notified, and re-engagement is the parties’ responsibility.

Party 1 confirms below that they have shared this proposed registration with Party 2 and have their permission to provide their name and email address to Congruent for this purpose.

The firm provides a calculation service. It does not act as an intermediary between the parties at any stage of the engagement. The relationship between the parties is theirs; the firm’s relationship is with the calculation methodology and, where the matter is Court-facing, with the Court.

The firm contracts through its short Invitation Letter and General Terms and Conditions; the joint-instruction itself is confirmed only once both parties have engaged with the firm. If either party declines, the firm withdraws the registration and removes the data.
